Website Baker is a content management system designed by Ryan Djurovich and it is mainly used to create small and medium-weighted websites. Website Baker is designed by using PHP and MySQL, it runs under open source license and is available as complete free cms. It introduction name was WCMS and later named as “Website Baker”.
Website Baker CMS allows user to create websites as they want and provide full integration and flexibility according to their usage. Users can change their settings i.e. themes, fonts, color contents etc instantly.

Main features
Website Baker provides a GUI which allows users to design their website based on their requirement very easily. It is a user driven CMS, which means users have full authority to change the front end by changing themes, fonts, colors and backgrounds. Website Baker supports multiple languages in a single interface, it depends on the reader to select the language in which he wants to read the content. Some of the languages it supports are English, French, and Italian. In the version 2.8 Website Baker provides 20 languages where English is set as default language. The backend and all core modules in the backend and frontend are translated, also many modules have different translations files available.
Website Baker provides extra support for multimedia content. It support uploading of files, pictures and all type of multimedia content. It contains a great number of designed templates and customizable pages which provides flexibility in designing a website. Website baker can also be integrated with various third party interfaces. The creation of the templates is done with the HTML, CSS and PHP. There is strict separation of content and design so the modification of different designs runs completely independent. It is only requires to create files which are compatible and built with CSS and PHP.
Website Baker contains various tools for your website administration and content management. It also provides features for notification, registration and password recovery from users. It also supports Group based access system and unlimited users or user groups can be created at a time. This help in easy handle your user administration of the website. From you admin panel you can control your complete Website Baker installationl. Furthermore it uses captcha in the front end to avoid spamming with user comments. It also supports several settings for time zones, display name, language determination, time and date format for each user. Website Baker has a built-in WYSIWYG HTML editor for easy editing of your content. It also provides supports running multiple websites or instances on the same platform.

- It fits very well for people who don’t want to make a big project with their website, but just want to present their company or create a portfolio of themselves or their association. That doesn’t mean that bigger projects can’t be achieved with Websitebaker.
- I never saw a CMS which it was easier to create your own template with a little knowledge of html and css. There are also a lot of free templates ready to download instantly.
- The community is quite big and very nice, also if someone needs more patience .
- There are about 180 modules so far to be used in Websitebaker.
